Change your subscription mode
You select from the many options yourself, such as frequency of reception (email by email, emails in groups, once a week...), the message format, and contents (the complete email or just the subject...).
Here are the different subscription modes:
Digest: instead of regularly receiving the list messages, you will periodically receive a compilation of them. This compilation gathers a group of the list messages and incorporates them within an MIME multipart/digest message format. The frequency with which the compilations are sent is determined by the list manager.
Summary: as with the digest mode, you will receive a compilation of the list messages. The contents of each message will be accessible via the list archives.
No mail: this mode makes it possible to no longer receive the list messages. You do remain a list subscriber, however. This prevents your having to stop your subscription and then resubscribe to the list, moreover, it enables you to consult the archives on the web interface and to continue to post messages to the list.
Txt: this mode permits reception of only the text version (text/plain) of messages posted in both text and HTML form.
HTML: this mode permits reception of only the HTML version (text/HTML) of messages posted in both text and HTML form.
Urlize: this mode makes it possible to not receive document attachments. They are replaced in the message by a URL indicating a web interface.
Not me: this mode keeps you from receiving copies of your own messages.
Normal: this mode is the default reception mode; it cancels out the other subscription modes. In this mode, you receive each message in real time, in the sender’s original form. To access the page for modification of your subscription mode, you must first go to the page of the list in question (if you know its address, go directly to it, if not, you can find it here), then click on the link "Subscriber Options" in the menu on the left.
Caution, when you click on this link, a new window will open.... with an error message in red (except if you have already been identified). THIS IS NORMAL.
Don’t forget that each time you want to reach the Sympa interface, you will need to identify yourself by clicking on the "Login" button on the top left of the screen, and enter your email address and your personal password. If you have lost the password, you can easily get it back.
