I’m unable to identify myself to Sympa

Caution: to identify yourself to Sympa, two elements are required:

-  your ID: it is quite simply your subscription email address, in its complete format. Example: dupont@yourdomain.com
-  your personal password: this is provided to you by Sympa at the time of your subscription. In the event you forget or lose this password, you can recover it here

If, after all this, you still cannot identify yourself to Sympa, double-check that you respected the UPPER and lower-case lettering in your ID and password and that you did not add a space.

The best way to be sure in these cases is to copy and paste your ID and password from the email you automatically received from Sympa at the time of your subscription. Last point of clarification: if you copy and paste from the original email, know that if you read your email in your navigator via a web mail service, a copy/paste can add a space at the end of what is copied. Think to double-check it and, if necessary, erase that last space :-)

If in the end you still cannot manage to identify yourself, contact the list manager first. If that does not resolve things, contact the listmaster.
